Under the visionary guidance of Principal Mrs. Parminder Kaur, Red Ribbon Club and Red Cross Society of Government College Ajnala organised a one-day workshop on HIV/AIDS Awareness on 29.11.2024 in collaboration with Sampoorna Suraksha Kendra, Amritsar dedicated to World AIDS day under the theme “Take the Rights Path”. The main objective of the workshop was to create awareness and educate the students about HIV/ AIDS, symptoms,mode of infection and preventive measures to control the disease.The resource persons for the workshop were Dr. Ripu Daman. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mrs.Teen and Mrs.Sukhjit Kaur (SSK) Manager. Dr Ripu Dhaman delivered a captivating session on HIV/AIDS Awareness during the workshop. With profound knowledge and eloquence, Dr. Ripu Daman presented a beautiful discourse shedding light on the critical aspects of HIV AIDS. His insightful remarks not only enriched the students’ understanding of the subject but also inspired a collective commitment to addressing the challenges posed by the pandemic.
