On the occasion of the 6th anniversary of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) launched by the Government of India, Government College Ajnala organized an anti-drug rally on the college campus. The programme was conducted in accordance with the directions of the Department of Social Security, Women and Child Development, Punjab, under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Harinder Singh.

The DAPO (Drug Abuse Prevention Officer) Club of the college, with the support of Senior Buddies, organized the anti-drug rally to spread awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of building a drug-free society.

On the occasion, Mr. Jaswinder Singh encouraged the students to contribute towards building a Drug-Free Punjab. Students were also advised to refrain from encouraging or provoking anyone to consume drugs and to actively promote awareness against substance abuse.

The students of the college also participated enthusiastically in an anti-drug rally, raising awareness and conveying the message of staying away from drugs.

The programme witnessed the active participation of the college students. Dr. Satnam Kaur, Programme In-charge, along with Mrs. Aarti Sharma, Mr. Jaswinder Singh, Dr. Prema Lakshmi, Mrs. Harinder Kaur, Mrs. Suneep Kaur, Sharan Deep Kaur, Satbir Kaur, Jagroop Kaur, Sarabjit Singh, Jatneil Singh, and others, were present during the programme.

The event successfully conveyed the message of a drug-free Punjab and a healthier future for the youth.
