On February 14, 2025, under the esteemed leadership of Principal Parminder Kaur, Mr. Teerathpal, Deputy CEO of the District Bureau of Employment and Entrepreneurship, delivered an insightful lecture on entrepreneurship and startups. The event, titled Future Tycoon, was hosted at Government College Ajnala and specifically tailored for graduates.The Future Tycoon project was initiated by Deputy Commissioner of Amritsar, Ms. Sakhshi Sawhney, to promote entrepreneurial awareness and skill development among students. The event was hosted by Prof. Aarti from the Department of Political Science. The lecture aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of entrepreneurship, startup culture, and government-backed support available to aspiring entrepreneurs. Mr. Teerathpal began by emphasizing the significance of entrepreneurship in economic development, stating that startups not only generate employment but also contribute to innovation and industrial growth.
